摘要: 本文对东莞加工贸易的产业分布和产品性质进行了分析, 改革开放以来 , 虽然东莞对外贸易飞速发展 , 对外贸易总额不断攀升，但是东莞外贸模式其本身固有的一些局限性开始凸显， 表现在过度的粗放式扩张、对外资的过度依赖、本地民营经济得不到良好的发展、资源成本的上升使产业面临转移的威胁、其背后却隐藏着外贸商品结构、外贸方式结构、外贸区域结构、外贸主体结构等诸方面的风险性因素并带来贸易摩擦困扰增多、贸易竞争力下降、贸易效益低下等严重后果 , 本文指出了东莞外贸存在的难点问题，并提出了相应的对策， 出发点在于必须着力解决资源瓶颈障碍;必须发挥劳动力资源丰富的比较优势;要有利于降低工业生产成本;促进对外贸易增长方式的转变;必须抓住科技创新这个关键环节，增强自主创新能力。
