The two basic business functions of Shoucheng shipping company are warehousing and distribution. Firstly,This article introduces the theory of logistics management and the development process of
logistics management . Secondly, it analyzes the present operating statusquo of this company, and finds problems and the causes of these problems. Then it provides solutions to the problem on two aspects: transport distribution and warehouse management. The first problem to be solved is how to select suitable distribution lines under the premise of meeting customers' demands for services.On this issue this paper applies mileage-saving method to find the shortest path . The second problem is how to manage orders reasonably. The solution is using quantitative analysis method flexibly and s
