一个独立主格的问题

为什么答案是having died 呢>??

既然你已经看出了是独立主格，那么就要看die和parent的关系，很明显是主动。
但是dying又无法清晰的表达事实，应为dying一般表示将死，弥留之际
根据下文这里是父母过世，孩子无人照顾
所以选用ing形式的完成时态

独立主格可以表示原因,这句话可以看成:
Because his parents have died last week, the child has no one to look after him.
也就是:名词(代词)+现在分词
这里有两个例句:
1.There being no taxis, we had to walk. 没有出租车，我们只好步行。
2.He wrapped her up with great care, the night being dark and frosty. 夜又黑又冷，所以他把她裹得严严实实的。
