UC知道请教如何卸载Windows Media Player

我下载了Windows Media Player10准备安装，但又担心系统Windows-XP自带的Windows Media Player（版本：8.0.0.4477)会对新安装和使用有影响，因此我想把原来的Windows Media Player卸载，但在“控制面板”的“添加/删除程序”里又找不到该程序，特此请教各位高手我该如何删除与安装？
进入“控制面板”的“添加或删除程序”，然后在左边选择“添加/删除Windows组件”，在弹出的“Windows组件向导”中将Windows Media Player前的钩去掉，然后点下一步，系统会自动卸载Windows Media Player，然后点击开始菜单的“运行”，输入regedit调出注册表编辑器，搜索所有“MediaPlayer”字符串，删掉所有找到的键值。重启系统后重新安装Windows Media Player即可。注意：操作注册表前，强烈建议先备份注册表。
卸载wmp的方法如下：
1、打开控制面板，然后再找卸载或更改程序，其实不是。要在点击左边的“打开或关闭windows功能”。找到“媒体功能”--“windows media player”，把前面的勾勾去掉。
2、再点击“是(Y)”。需要等一会。
