relationship 和 correlation 意思和用法上有什么不同？

correlation相关 强调一个关系中二者的互动
the correlation between climate and vegetation
气候与植物的相互关系

relationship关系 不强调互动
比如
the relationship between climate and vegetation 气候和植物的关系。你可以只从气候或植物任意一个方面谈起。比如只谈气候怎么影响植物或反过来。不需要谈论他们的相互影响。

relation/relationship 关系，联系，往来；常常在文章中用作the relation/relationship betwwen A and B
relationship 更强调关系，比如说男女的暧昧关系；
correlation/correlationship 相互关系,强调相互；相关性；
related 有关的，强调A和B之间有联系；
correlated 相互关联的，常常表示一件事引起另一件事。

意思：前者用于广泛的关系，比如男女关系，亲属关系等等。
后者是指两者的依存关系，有相互的。因为有前缀cor
用法：前者好后者都常加介词between with
eg:They found a strong correlation between urban deprivation and poor health.
an improved relationship between the police and local people
