only后面的时态是不是有问题？？？

only后用部分倒装

语法应该改成they can
整体的话改成这样比较好：
Culture plays an essential role in a nation. So only when new immigrants accept the new culture can they start the new life.
其实我觉得这个因果关系有点奇怪。。。

没有问题。时态是对的。
