[Earth shake in Wenchuan]
A violent earth struck Sichuan province,on 12 May,2008.It was the most serious disaster in the area since 1978.In Wenchuan,the most affected area as many as 70 thousands people died and over 120 thousands were injured.Many people died because they were indoors when their houses were destroyed.the earthquake has left tens of people homeless.
“Unluckily,the earthquake happened in the daytime,when people had being left home,for work or school.”said a survivor.“Many people were killed because they were indoors.”Unfortunately,all the school children were studying in classroom and many adults were working in the building when it struck.This probably killed their lives.
“My class had just begun the lessons when the school building started shaking and we heard a loud noise.I immediately asked students to line up to safety before the buildings fell down.”said a local teacher.Sadly,her family were less lucky: her husband died while their two daughters
