Taking this medicine ,if ____________ ,will of course do good to his health.
答案是 continued ..
为什么是 过去分词。。。 这是插入语吗？ 那continuing 不对吗。。我觉得好像是主动。。解释下~~~~~~~~~~~ （高手来—）

其实是有省略的部分 完整的是“Taking this medicine,if it is continued,it will of course do good to his health."
其中的it指的是taking this medicine时间事。只有从句和主句的主语一样的时候才可以省略主语及助动词。因此省略了it is 就只剩continued了。

想一下：是你吃药呢还是药吃你？

continued有 “持续的 ”意思 这里只不过省略it罢了

will of course do good to his health的主语是 this medicine
所以if后面的主语也是this medicine
药是被继续服用所以是被动。

如果药继续被吃，主语是this medicine与take得关系是被动的
只要满足：从句为被动，主从句主语一致的情况，If后面基本都是过去分词

类似用法有“as, when,,until,unless,once"
例如”when heared,until asked,if invited"

这个高考常考要记的。

我觉得这个continue所对应的主语是Taking this medicine整个动作，换句话说：如果“吃药”这个动作被继续的话，将会对他的健康有益。（只是个人见解）
