1.首先语法上anywhere不存在问题。那么从文章意思入手，特别是第一句，“没有人能清楚的知道在冻土下到底有多少化石燃料”，可以知道文章作者对这些化石燃料的分布是不清楚的，是任何地方都可能出现的，所以用anywhere更加贴切。
2.go with...与....一起，一道；end of 是一个固定搭配，有无数的，结束的意思，而range的意思更广了。所以我觉得the end of the range不能算是固定搭配。具体还是根据文章上下文的意思来吧。。。
3.文章翻译过来就很好理解了：National Resources Denfends Council说可能战略储备的石油还不到32亿桶，这对于缓解美国目前的能源紧张问题无异于是杯水车薪。a drop in the bucket桶里的一滴水，不就是我们常说的杯水车薪的意思吗？根据no more than...以及do nothing to ease可以推断出这样的翻译。
drop还有很多含义，但是这里的意思就是最常见的那种。
