UC知道find和beyond的问题

How he managed to find us is beyond me.
1.这句话中的manage to是达成、设法的意思，过去式用在它上了，那如果，我不用manage to,我直接说How he found us is beyond me.
2.我不知道beyond的用法在这里的意思，还有，应该是How did he find us?
这里怎么没有助动词do呢？是不是有is beyond me在就不是疑问句了，我一看见How在前面就老想着疑问句，后面不是be、情态和do,我就看着别扭~~~

不是这么说！
IS是谓语，之前HOW引导的是主语从句，整个作主语，因此就不能用疑问的倒装形式。
其实How he found us is beyond me.也是可以的，只是用了manage to语境更好！
beyond在这里应该是超出了意思吧！这个应该是是how引导的主语从句，how作连接副词，表方式
