emphasize to do 还是doing ?

emphasize 是一个及物动词，后面通常直接加名词或从句
如： He ~d the necessity for taking strong measures.
他强调采取强硬手段的必要性。
The author ~s that many of the figures quoted are merely estimates.
作者强调所引用的数字有很多不过是估计而已。
所以 emphasize 一般不加to do (很少见）可以加 doing 但也不多见。
