remote control 遥控能否改为far control？

不行，remote本身有adj “遥控的”意思，而far是单纯的“远”。

从理论上讲是可以的，没有任何语法错误，而且人们还都能懂；但remote control是约定俗成的用法了，所以一般都倾向于用remote而不用far。
