英语完型填空中this that怎么区分

That有指代前面提到的词的用法，this没有。完形里看到that就不选this，一个小窍门，嘻嘻

其实英语有时候是要凭语感的，
如果是我我会选that,总觉得this别扭。
如果我没记错，这里的that是起强调作用！

首先我填 that 是根据语感 然后分析 前一句是he stopped …… 用的是单3人称 所以后面跟的句子主语必定要that ! 而且that 有指代的作用

因为上文已经提到了 Englishman that 一般用于指代上文已经提到的

THAT 在这里特指这个老外！
