疑问：speaking 不是动词也不是形容词，为什么还要用副词honestly?

A.suit B.fit C.match
答案是C.具体分析一下。
还有为什么用well呢，前面的look不是系动词吗？
3.用lie或lay的适当形式填空。
1）In front of the farmhouse___a boy.No one knew who he was.
答案是lay。请问lay a boy这是什么句型阿？详细一点。
2）The problem___in the fact that we are now giving him a fish,not teaching him to fish.
答案是lies.讲一下。
4.类似于Do you know the boy standing by her? 这种句型是什么啊？
那上面那道题不可以用lying来表示这种句型吗？

1.这里speaking是现在分词，兼有动词的性质，用副词honestly修饰是正确的。相信楼主对它不陌生吧：generally speaking。
2.物与物之间的“搭配”用match，物与人相配用fit。look是双性动词，在这里也有实意动词的性质，故well并无不妥。

1）这里的lay很明显是lie（躺）的过去式。这是一个倒装句，我将它复原庐山真面目：A boy lay in front of the farmhouse.No one knew who he was.这下楼主清楚了吧？
2）本句的lie与上句大相径庭。lie in是固定短语，“在于。。。”的意思。
4.Do you know the boy standing by her?中的standing by her是现在分词短语做定语，修饰the boy的。其功能相当于一个定语从句：Do you know the boy( who is )standing by her?
上面那道题不可以用lying来表示这种句型.
