英语高手进，thrive prosper flourish有什么区别

flourish和thrive 表示“繁荣，兴旺”时候就等于prosper。
flourish和thrive还可以表示健康成长（flourish），茁壮成长(thrive)。这个时候flourish主要用于植物的成长方面，原因是由于flourish这个动词是由flower演变而来。thrive用于人及抽象事物的情况较多。

flourish指处于成功、繁荣、进步的顶盛阶段Plants will not flourish without water
thrive指蓬勃发展，常指显而易见的成功 Children thrive on good food.
prosper 指持续不断地成功，也指越来越成功 We are bound to prosper beyond other countries
