普通英语中被动语态随处可见，多用于描述的语句。商务英语则不同，句子的动作主体通常比较明确，均慎用被动语态。这是因为国际商务活动中责任与义务必不可少，动作主体不清，则责任不明，难以让对方信赖。商务英语中多用现在时态，少用将来时态。
