Drop就是丢进去的意思 It是指 POST Card。
we'll drop it in the mail when your book's back yet就是说等书还回来时,(一般书都被别人借走了)我们将把它放到邮箱里!!
其实这句话反过来你一下就明白了when your book's back yet we'll drop it in the mail..这里it是不是指book了????
所以是把书寄给你! drop 可以指将信件或其他东西放入油箱或者盒子内等,指的是那种动作!
应该是社会图书馆吧。
我个人是这么翻译的：
“喏，只要把地址写在邮件的正面，名字写在反面就行了，当书归还的时候我们就把它扔掉”（“它”应该是指你的名字和地址。即邮件的外壳。防止隐私泄露啊！）
