请教英语写作中的一些词汇

写作中常用到表示时间的推移，或句子与句子之间的过度词语，谁能提供一些不常见的，但很地道或很实用的过度词，比如day and day by,the next day,from that moment,in other words(hand),that is等等，当然我说的比较常见。谢谢高手们指教。
