Investment banker (\"IB\") is the one that, in general, provide the financial services to firms. These services are, including but not limited, merger, acquision, fund raising, share distribution, corp. restructure.
Investment banker is a deal maker, different from deal brokerage, to structure a financial vehicle to meet client need.
Most IBs has to be years of experience in the field to be successful and a wide range of connection in the financial market.
