你就误导别人吧，不懂装懂。persist可做及物动词也可做不及物动词，做不及物时是persist+in+doing sth.
楼主的问题我的解释是：i sticked to the last

i sticked to the end .
一般习惯上用sticked to。因为有坚持了很久，或者说很坚定的意思。
而persist后面用on比较多，而且用于形容观点。

I persisted till the end.

I sticked to the end.
