offer和supply意思有什么区别

我只讲作动词“提供”讲时，它们的区别。

offer: 英文解释是To present for acceptance or rejection，中文解释是：献，提供：呈给，以使对方接受或被对方拒绝，He offered me a job, but I didn't accept.

afford (vt.)“提供”，“供给”；可以带双宾语，一般只能用于抽象事物，还可以特指经济能力，指“供给”，或能“付出”一定的时间，在这种意义上，只能接在can或be able to之后。例如： He afforded me an opportunity. 他为我提供了一个机会(暗含我接受了意味，区别于offer)。经济方面的例子： I think I can afford this. 我认为我可以负担得起。

provide (vt.)“供给”，“提供”；特指供给需要或有用的东西。例如： We provided them (with) board and lodging. 我们给他们提供食宿。

supply (vt.) “供给”，“供应”；supply和provide 意义相近，都表“供给”。但牵涉到金钱时，provide往往含有“免费供给”的意味，supply一般需付钱，且不可有双宾语。例如： Cows supply us with milk. 奶牛为我们提供牛奶。 We are well supplied with foods. 我们的食品供给充足。

offer有主观上愿意共给的意思，其他词无此意，
offer还有出价、给多少工资的意思，其他词无此意
