Adventure that I really want
I follow the road with my friends
On the way, laughing, playing, charting
We arrived to the hill side when
The sun is still high. I was fifteen
Varity of flowers, trees,
Different calls of birds singing
Fresh air cleans our mind
We smelled the scent
We charged up the hill
Gleaning of the sun filtered
through the dense leaves on the tree interesting and mysterious

I found a cute brown squirrel, holding a chestnut, standing there

Closer and closer, it runs away,
Followed and followed.
Dark now and I lost my way.

我在国外上学，可以给你几点建议：
英文里所有的诗都会用到压韵（句尾，句中，句首），暗语（明喻，暗喻），对比...等修饰手法，活用他们，把他们穿插在诗中。
你那同学不会写诗，那是”儿歌”语法。。。
