他去年在这里呆过，英语里应是完成时还是过去时

过去时，有了时间标志“去年”就不能用完成时了。
He stayed here last year.

过去时: He stayed here for a while last year
过去完成表示过去的过去：He had stayed here until last year.

过去时。去年呆过表示一个已经过去的时间发生了一个动作
如果是他去年在这呆了一年，就应该是过去完成时：
He had been here for a year.

"呆过" 和整个句子表明只是为了表明一种状态或结果。而不是强调过去没个时间做过什么！因此完成时！
FYI: You have ever lived here last year!

用过去完成时,因为他在那呆了一段时间,所以是延续的,而且他已经离开了,所以用完成时.

he had stayed there last year.

he's been in here last year
