before和in (the)front of 区别

before 一般指 时间的概念

in front of 指 X在Y的前面 X与Y是两个相对独立的物体

比如TOM sit in front of me.TOM坐在我的前面

in the front of 指X在Y的前部 这里 X是Y的一部分 或者在Y 内部
例如 I sit in the front of the classroom.我坐在教室的前部

两者在汉语里面感觉差不多似的，都是“前面”

其实，在英语里面没什么共同的地方。

before是说时间的，在几点之前啊之类的。

in front of 是在某个物体之前，不是物体的一部分。 例如 你坐在我的前面。

in the front of 是在某个物体之前，但是这个物体的一部分。例如 车头在车的前面。

before用在时间概念之前
in (the)front of 用于距离，空间概念之前

没什么区别可以通用
in the front of 跟其他2个意思不一样，慎用
