渗透结晶型防水涂料中含有的活性化学物质,以水为载体,随着水对混凝土结构孔隙进行渗透,被流渗到砼结构内部的孔缝中,催化硅酸钙与水泥水化反应过程中析出的Ca(OH)2与硅酸钙交互反应,形成了不溶于水的枝蔓状纤维结晶物,在混凝土结构内部吸水膨胀,使结构中的毛细孔缝得到充盈密实,从而有效提高了混凝土结构的抗渗水能力。在防水涂层中起到密实抗渗的作用,随着时间(一般为14~28d)的发展,结晶量递增,在防水涂层和渗透结晶相结合,增强结构整体的抗渗能力。由于活性化学物质多年后还能被水激活,继续起到催化作用,因此混凝土结构即使局部受损渗漏(裂缝小于0.4mm)在结晶作用下,会自行修补愈合,并具有多次抗渗能力。从而在本质上改变了普通混凝土结构体积不稳定而再次带来的裂渗。所以,水泥基渗透结晶型防水涂料具有独特性能,持久的效果。
