for a time 和at one time的区别(好象都有一度的意思但区别是什么或者就是一样的?)

我看书上两个都有一度的意思就是具体有什么区别吗??

for a time
=for a fairly short period，暂时

at one time
at a time in the past but not now
曾经的某个时间

At one time she wanted to be a nurse, but the thought of working at night put her off.

后者也有同时的意思，前者是指次数，一次，两次
