本文通过对不同家庭结构、不同家庭收入层次、不同教育程度等多方面指标的调查分析，对北京市区居民家庭理财偏好现状形成一个总体的认识。目前国内外研究多集中于对各个金融产品单独的研究上，多注重于较为深入的理论研究，即在金融产品的纵向研究较为深入，而在金融产品横向研究则不多，本论文主要以北京市居民对各个金融产品偏好的研究为平台，从而以此扩展，在横向上加以对比研究。最近两年金融领域更是成为广大百姓关注的焦点，从国内股市的火爆到大幅振荡，美国的次贷危机引制的经济减缓等，无一不被百姓所关注，金融市场是个全球市场，任何一点风吹草动都将影响到地球的另一边，所以广大百姓要理好财首先就要了解到全球经济的总体情况，对相关金融产品有所认识，针对自身情况选择有针对性的金融产品去投资，本文将以北京市居民为例对他们的投资偏好进行调查分析。
