方法：60只成年雄性SD大鼠随机分为空白对照组、模型组、尼莫地平组、XXX口服液大、中、小剂量组。除空白组外，其余各组均在立体定位仪下采用自体血脑内注入建立模型。动物苏醒后，各组均按照 Bederson 等的神经缺损分级评分标准（稍加改进），立即进行神经功能缺失评分。3分及以下动物入选本实验，开始灌胃给药，每日一次。给药7天后，采集标本，采用溴甲酚绿比色法测定脑脊液、血清白蛋白，免疫组化法检测神经元特异性烯醇化酶与肿瘤坏死因子，具体方法按试剂盒说明。
结果：（1）ICH大鼠脑内血肿形成后，动物均有神经系统症状；（2）模型组与空白组相比，脑组织中NSE、TNF-α及BBB指数明显升高（P〈0.01），提示造模成功；（3）XXX口服液小剂量组与模型组无明显差异（P>0.05），说明小剂量组对大鼠脑出血后脑组织中NSE、TNF-α的表达无明显影响，但对BBB指数相比，P<0.01，说明其对改善血脑屏障通透性有明显效果；其它治疗组与模型组相比，P<0.05，其中尼莫地平组与大剂量组，P<0.01。XXX口服液大、中剂量组与尼莫地平组无显著性差异（P>0.05），说明XXX口服液大、中剂量组与尼莫地平组疗效相当，与小剂量组相比有明显差异。
结论：在脑出血急性期，XXX口服液可显著降低NSE、TNF-α含量及BBB指数，具有抗氧化、减轻细胞内水肿等作用，保护脑神经细胞。
