简单说明中英文之间的差异 :王老师 → *Teacher Wang

In the United States, students call their teachers by last names.
Therefore, they will call Teacher Wang as:

Mr. Wang
Miss Wang
or,
Ms. Wang

在西方，人们习惯称老师为Miss/Mr./Ms.……显然比中文更亲切随意，毕竟中国的儒家思想……

但是，在西方称老师为Teacher……，有教书匠的意味。虽然中文里称“老”师没有贬义，但是Teacher……是有的。
