it briefly introduces the function of ultrasonic wave and its mechanism. A series of researches have been carried out to find out the different impacts brought by ultrasonic cavitation of different durations to the rheology of the coal-water slurry.The viscosity of the sample coal-water slurry increases as the duration of the ultrasonic cavitation becomes longer.The result shows that ultrasonic wave does have significant impact on the rheology of coal-water slurry. And the final result actually is what it shows after the interaction of certain factors.
