通过对我国合川盐井中学高中生的多项身体指标的分析，确定了影响青少年肌体发育的多项因素，选择恰当的数据变量，运用主成分分析的方法，建立相应的主成分分析的数学模型，对该中学高中生的12项指标的体测数据进行分析，得出299个学生的身体指标的综合评价值，根据所得结果以期对该校青少年肌体发育程度进行了评估。
