听说XXX申请贵校，我十分乐意为他写这封推荐信。
他是我见过的为数不多的对于我所教的科目真正感兴趣的学生之一。每次上课之前他似乎都做好了提前预习的工作，对于课的内容有着深入的了解。他学习的态度非常积极，经常在下课后就我上课讲的东西进行讨论，对于一些问题也有他自己独特的看法。特别是对于某些他特别感兴趣的问题，其投入的程度更是远远超过一般的学生。
对于许多问题，他所表现出的研究和分析能力是超越常人的。但是即使是同一学科的某些问题如果提不起他的兴趣，那么完成的情况一样会很糟糕。他其他的科目的状况我不了解，但是就我所任教的这个科目而言，他是一个非常优秀的学生。尽管有些时候成绩并没有他实际的掌握的那样出色，但是我相信他会成为一名出色的学者的。
