帮忙看一个英语句子吧

两句都不对,只要用request这个词就地道不了
信是letter,book是书,不要弄混~
information about this letter不是信的内容,而是这封信本身的信息,比如信纸的颜色purpose太正式了,写信没必要
推荐一种翻译方法

注意一定不能用I wrote既然正在写不可能已经写完,即便不从语法上讲这也是矛盾

首先 i writing这种写法是不正确的，前面都没有相应的动词使之为-ing形式；
“request”在你的将句子里是不能那么用的，你还是在学习一下这个次再用吧。

第二句是对的。
在句中I am writing the letter 是定语从句，修饰先行词the purpose.
因为从句也是一个完整的句子，也必须具备一个完整的句子的结构，在一个句子中，谓语动词必不可少，在该句中，am writing 共同构成句子的谓语，它是一个进行时态，因为“我”的这句话刚好是在写这封信的时候，说明动作正在进行。
第一个句子从句缺少谓语，writing 是非谓语动词，不能作谓语，必须和be 动词are 一起形成进行时态作谓语。

如果是信里的内容，那一般都是“I am writing this letter to ......”
