严格的讲historical是指历史上发生过的.
historic是指历史上发生的意义重的事,象意大利文艺复兴.
但在现代英语中它们的区别很小.可以互换.

historic: [ his'tɔrik ]
a. 有历史意义的
This battle is of historic meaning.
这一战具有历史意义。

historical: [ his'tɔrikəl ]
a. 历史的
Let's look at this from a historical standpoint.
让我们从历史的观点来看待这一切。

historic：有历史意义的，histroic event可译为“历史性事件”
historical：历史上发生过的，仅仅是一个时间概念，不涉及价值或重要性，historical event可译为“历史事件”

后者是有历史意义的．
前者是历史的或历史遗留下来的．
